The rain made it impossible to do much today, but it has been great for the farm because the ground has been quite dry since the last snowfall in March. I, on the other hand, found myself under-prepared for getting stuck under more than four inches of water. It may take time to get here, but I ordered a taller pair of rubber boots and a rain bib after learning the hard way.
I spent the morning yanking nails from pieces of wood in the barn. For the next two weeks, I'll also be responsible for taking care of the pigs, including the new Tamworth piglets that Daniel plans to use as breeders for next season.
Having been rained out, we all had ample time to focus on Settlers of Catan. I won!
